Ca 'd' Mare

Ca’d’Mare is an incredible vacation home in the Captiva Village area, within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The four-bedroom house features a private heated pool with screen enclosure. The home is beautifully furnished, painted with bold colors and tastefully decorated. Stroll down quiet and beautiful Chapin Lane to the beach, or the library and Chapel by the Sea.

Ca’d’Mare is a much larger house than one might imagine while viewing the outside. The main entrance opens into a two-story great room with fireplace and balcony (sorry, fireplaces are not available to guests). On this level are the kitchen, dining area, a large screened porch with outdoor dining (seats six), and guest bedrooms and baths.

  This is a perfect spot for a family vacation. Very quiet street, close to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of beach chairs, towels and pool toys. Interior very clean, exterior could use some maintenance. Trim could be painted, trees trimmed and the upper deck repaired. But overall, a beautiful house in a fabulous location.

  This was a great house in a great location - easy walk to marinas, shops and restaurants. The house is spacious and has a good size screened in pool. The fourth bedroom is in the downstairs apartment which has a kitchen and a second washer/dryer. The maintenance staff was quick to respond to one request during our two week stay. It is a short walk to the beach and is located on the same street as the library. Our grandchildren liked the library which had several interactive learning stations on the history of Captiva. This is a great place to stay in a very tropical setting. We'll be back.
