�� The Sunset Captiva community is Captiva Island's most charming private neighborhood — sandy lanes, tropical foliage, a wonderful sense of community, and some of the best beach access on the island. �� Sunset Captiva #18 is tucked in close to the community's shared barbecue patio area, making group grilling and socializing easy and fun. A boardwalk and nature walk lead to the Gulf beach and the historic Chapel By The Sea. ��️

�� The Sunset Captiva beach is a gem — wide white sand, warm Gulf water, and famously good shelling. The large heated community pool is one of Captiva's biggest, with a sunny patio, picnic tables, and gas grills. Two community tennis courts and a boat dock round out the community amenities. ��⚓

🛏️ The primary suite upstairs features a king bed, two closets, a ceiling fan, a small TV, and sliding glass doors opening onto the rooftop-level sundeck — wake up, step outside, and greet the morning with Gulf breezes and tropical views. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. A pleasant loft adjacent to the primary suite has a queen pull-out sleep sofa and also opens to the sundeck. ��

The guest bedroom on the main level has two twin beds. The guest bathroom features a tub shower. The cathedral-ceiling living room has two sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a dining table that seats six. The screened lanai offers outdoor dining for four. ��️ The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances.

  We had a marvelous stay at Sunset Captiva #18. The house is beautiful and well appointed. We had lots of space and everything we needed. It was pleasant surprise to walk in the front door and find a bright and cheery atmosphere. We love the artwork and attention to detail. The walk to the beach was easy. The grounds were immaculate.   We have stayed in many houses in the Sunset Captiva complex, and this one did not disappoint. It was clean, roomy, well-stocked with necessities, and overall a very pleasant place to be. The hot water wasn't functioning when we arrived, but the problem was fixed after two service calls. Our only complaint was the annoyance of someone at the door arriving unannounced to service the air conditioner (we said "no,") and then another phone call from your office requesting that we let him in, which we also said "no" to. The air conditioning was fine, and we were on vacation and had had enough service people at the house already. It is our suggestion that you send service people when the house is unoccupied.

  We enjoyed 2 beautiful weeks at this home..a 3 minute walk to the beach, and a 60 second walk to the pool. The home is well cared for, it was neat and clean. We didn't even rent a car, just a couple of bikes and we enjoyed a stroll every evening to dinner at one of the many restaurants close by.
