18 Sunset Captiva

Welcome to beautiful Captiva Island, Florida, and paradise! The lovely Sunset Captiva #18 vacation rental home is located in the private, quiet, community of “Sunset Captiva” across from the pool and the beach boardwalk. The community is centrally located on more than 6 miles of spectacular beach on the Gulf of Mexico. There is a pool, dock, two tennis courts, and a recreation area complete with gas grills and picnic tables. It’s also conveniently close to The Village and the finest in dining, shopping, and recreation. This is a place that is great to walk and explore.
Parking is limited to 2 cars. No boats or trailers are permitted.


All reservations/cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions (policies) of the American Realty Rental Agreement once the reservation is booked thru 3rd party platforms.

Policies include but are not limited to credit card/debit card convenience fees and cancellation fees.

  We have stayed in Sunset Captiva for many years. This was our first stay in this home. The new owners have done a nice job of updating this property. It is close to the well maintained pool area and of course the beach. We enjoy the many eating choices and the quiet and safe atmosphere.

  We have stayed in many houses in the Sunset Captiva complex, and this one did not disappoint. It was clean, roomy, well-stocked with necessities, and overall a very pleasant place to be. The hot water wasn't functioning when we arrived, but the problem was fixed after two service calls. Our only complaint was the annoyance of someone at the door arriving unannounced to service the air conditioner (we said "no,") and then another phone call from your office requesting that we let him in, which we also said "no" to. The air conditioning was fine, and we were on vacation and had had enough service people at the house already. It is our suggestion that you send service people when the house is unoccupied.

  The house was very nice. Any issues were addressed in a timely manner. It would be nice to have a bigger TV in the living room and a screen on the sliding door in the master bedroom. Overall the house is bright and cheerful.

  We enjoyed 2 beautiful weeks at this home..a 3 minute walk to the beach, and a 60 second walk to the pool. The home is well cared for, it was neat and clean. We didn't even rent a car, just a couple of bikes and we enjoyed a stroll every evening to dinner at one of the many restaurants close by.
