Welcome to beautiful Captiva Island, Florida and paradise! The lovely Sunset Captiva #12 vacation rental home is located in the private, quiet, community of “Sunset Captiva” across from the pool and the beach boardwalk. The community is centrally located on more than 6 miles of spectacular beach on the Gulf of Mexico. There is a pool, dock, two tennis courts, and recreation area complete with gas grills and picnic tables. It’s also conveniently close to The Village and the finest in dining, shopping, and recreation. This is a place that is great to walk and explore.

  House is very well equipped and cleaning was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for family of 5 with space to stretch out. Beach apparel well stocked, very close to beach access, directly across from pool.
  House does need a face lift, couch old and ripped, furniture dated, ceiling in dining are falling. Bed mattresses worn. We have stayed here 2019 & 2020, chose to move to another home for 2021. Will return to house 12 in 2022 if updates are made.
  One thing that would help, adding bunk beds in 1st floor office would be great and would allow for in-laws to accompany us.

  This house was very nicely set up for our needs. Everything was in order with a few notes to highlight. The freezer door doesn't open fully and provides limited freezer storage. This was not a problem for us at all. The kitchen hot water takes a very long time to warm up. That's being nit picky. The items available for the beach were very nice. A cart, inexpensive coolers, etc. were welcomed. I like having instant access via the lock code. Made the arrival and departure very easy.

  Terrific location adjacent to the pool in Sunset Captiva. I thought it might possibly be noisy but it wasn't noisy at all -- the lanai was very pleasant. Nice to have 2.5 baths, with the extra half bath upstairs. Furniture and appliances were fine. Spotlessly clean throughout. Did not need any service from American Realty while staying there, but they were very helpful and responsive answering questions before we arrived. Wifi worked great. I would recommend it.

  We had an awesome time staying in Sunset Captiva, #12. The beach house was close to the pool, grill, beach, main Street Captiva and fishing. The unit was very accomodations with adequate space for a family of 6. It was clean and updated with paint, carpet and kitchen.
