Captiva Cottages are eight vacation cottages on landscaped grounds, right on the water facing Pine Island Sound. Relax among peaceful, natural beauty and enjoy the shared pool. The cottages are ground-level for easy access, and the shops, restaurants, and activities of the Captiva Village are about one minute’s walk.

These cottages are undoubtedly the best value on Captiva Island, offering an outstanding waterfront location and clean, comfortable interiors at a bargain price. They are perfect for extended-stay couples, naturalists, and larger families and groups (rent several cottages).

Smart TVs ( 50 inches or larger) are located in both the living room and bedroom of the cottage!

Captiva Cottages provides beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella for your day at the beach!

Parking is limited to one car. The dock is now available for use at $75 per night.


All reservations/cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions (policies) of the American Realty Rental Agreement once the reservation is booked thru 3rd party platforms.

Policies include but are not limited to credit card/debit card convenience fees and cancellation fees.

  This was a great location on Captiva since it was close to the center of activity and not too long of a walk to the beach. Minor problem in that we were unable to use the safe (would not lock) and we would also recommend some form of a non-slip surface in the shower.

  Nice furnished cottage. However, hooks are needed in the bathroom to hang towels (there is one towel bar high above the toilet), and it would be nice to have hooks in the bedroom for robe or pjs. None of the windows appeared to open, we were there when it was cool out, would have been nice to have a breeze. No dishwasher either, for what they are charging to rent by the week they certainly could afford a drawer size dishwasher. Also, regular size fridge too big for the space and not needed, should be apartment size fridge.

  Had a wonderful vacation in my own cottage, while my family celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday at South Seas Plantation. While we used to stay at South Seas yearly, I decided to give something new a try...and I LOVED IT!   The place was very clean. Quiet neighborhood. I think I only saw one other person when we were there. The washer and drier were nice to have but they were SO LOUD. I’m fairly certain we woke the people next to us, but we were leaving very early the next morning and the instructions said to start the laundry. We weren’t sure if that meant just the wash, or throw them in the drier. The drive up to the location was frustrating because traffic was horrible. Bumper to bumper the whole way. Things also shut down pretty early in Captiva so it would be wise to plan ahead. Check in was very easy as it was a code. No keys to mess with. Communication was efficient.

  Cottage was clean and well supplied with linens and kitchen supplies. Location was great, easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The only thing we didn't like was that it was not very sound proof. The person in the adjoining unit was very loud and it sounded like they were sitting at the end of our bed talking (yelling) on the phone.

  My mom and I stayed at this cute place during Thanksgiving week. The cottage was immaculately clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect - 1 minute walk from the bay and a 7 minute walk to the beach. We barely used our rental car the whole week since we could walk everywhere. We also enjoyed the heated pool.

  I boated with a group of Friends from the Naples/Marco area for a long weekend on Capitva Island. We traveled to areas around the island as well and I must say we had the time of our lives!!! We all had our own little cottage and that made the experience all the more beautiful. These cottages are absolutely adorable, they all have their own little design on the inside, and all have that coastal charm. I would give them a 5-star rating, and we can't wait to come back again next year!
